11 so shall My Word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall do that which I please, and it shall prosper in that which I sent it to do!

17 but of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil you may not eat, for in the day of the eating of it, dying you shall die.
And the serpent said to the woman, Dying you shall not die,
5 for God knows that in the day you eat of it, even your eyes shall be opened, and you shall become like God, knowing good and evil.
6 ¶ And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that to the eyes it was to be desired, and the tree was desirable to make one wise. And she took of its fruit and ate; and she also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
7 And the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were na- ked. And they sewed leaves of the fig tree, and made girdles for themselves.
8 And they heard the sound of Jehovah God walking up and down in the garden at the breeze of the day. And the man and his wife hid themselves from the face of Je- hovah God in the middle of the trees of the garden.

11 “There is not one understanding, there is not one seeking God.”
I Corinthians 2:14
But a natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
A good tree cannot produce evil fruits, nor a corrupt tree produce good fruits.
15 Or is it not lawful for me to do what I desire with my things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?
16 So the last shall be first, and the first last; for many are called, but few chosen.
Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, If one is not generated from above, he is not able to see the king- dom of God.
Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, If one is not generated out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God.
The Spirit breathes where He desires, and you hear His voice; but you do not know from where He comes, and where He goes; so is everyone having been generated from the Spirit.
For even as the Father raises the dead, and makes alive, so also the Son makes alive whom He wills.
I knew you before I formed you in the belly, even before you came out of the womb, I consecrated you. I gave you to be a prophet to the nations.
O house of Israel, am I not able to do to you as this potter? a statement of Jehovah. Behold, as the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.
O your perversity! Shall the former be counted as the clay, that it shall say to its maker, He did not make me? Or shall the thing formed say to the former, He does not understand?
¶ But now so says Jehovah who cre- ated you, O Jacob; and He who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have re- deemed you; I called you by your name; you are to Me.
every one who is called by My name, I have created him for My glory; I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
So says Jehovah, who made you and formed you from the womb. He helps you. Do not fear, My servant Jacob; and you, Jeshurun whom I have elected.
¶ Remember these, O Jacob, and Israel. For you are My servant; I have formed you; you are My servant, O Israel; you shall not forget Me
Woe to him who fights with his Former A potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to its former, What are you making? Or does your work say, There are no hands to him?
But now, Jehovah, You are our Father. We are the clay, and You are our Former; yea, we all are the work of Your hand.
Truly, truly, I say to you, The one who hears My Word, and believing the One having sent Me, has everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that you believe into Him whom that One sent.
All things were given over to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and to whomever the Son purposes to reveal Him.
All who the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and the one coming to Me I will not cast out, not ever,
38 for I have come down out of Heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
39 And this is the will of the Father sending Me, that of all that He has given Me, I shall not lose any of it, but shall raise it up in the last day.
40 And this is the will of the One having sent Me, that everyone seeing the Son and believing into Him should have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
No one is able to come to Me, if not the Father, the One having sent Me, draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day.
And He said, Because of this, I have told you that no one is able to come to Me if it is not given to him from My Father
32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free
Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.
But you do not believe, for you are not of My sheep, even as I said to you.
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

¶ because whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, for Him to be the First- begotten among many brothers.

31 ¶ What then shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

It is not, however, that God’s Word has failed. For not all the ones of Israel, these are of Israel,
7 nor because they are Abraham’s seed are all children, but “In Isaac a Seed shall be called to you.” Gen. 21:12
That is: not the children of flesh are chil- dren of God, but the children of the promise are reckoned for a seed.
for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of the One calling,

even as it has been written, “I loved Jacob, but I hated Esau.” Mal. 1:2, 3
14 What then shall we say? Is there not unrighteousness with God? Let it not be
15 For He said to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will pity whomever I pity.” Ex. 33:19
16 So, then, it is not of the one willing, nor of the one running, but of the One having mercy, of God.
17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very thing I raised you up, so that I might show forth My power in you, and so that My name might be publicized in all the earth.” Ex. 9:16
So, then, to whom He wills, He shows mercy; but to whom He wills, He hardens.
You will then say to me, Why does He yet find fault? For who has resisted His will?
Nay, rather, O man, who are you, the one answering back to God? Shall the thing formed say to the One forming it, Why did You make me like this? Isa. 29:16
21 Or does not the potter have authority over the clay, out of the same lump to make one vessel to honor, and one to dishonor?
22 But if God, desiring to display wrath, and to make His power known, endured in much long-suffering vessels of wrath having been fitted out for destruction,
23 and that (in order that) He make known the riches of His glory on vessels of mercy which He before prepared for glory,
24 whom He also called, not only us, of Jews, but also out of nations.
25 ¶ As also He says in Hosea, I will call the ones Not My People, My People! And the ones Not Being Loved, Being Loved! Hosea 2:23
26 “And it shall be, in the place where it was said to them, You are Not My people, there they will be called, “Sons of the Living God.” LXX-Hos. 2:1; MT-Hos. 2:23
27 But Isaiah cries on behalf of Israel, “If the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, the remnant will be saved.”
28 For He is finishing and finishing quickly the matter “in righteousness,” “because the Lord” “will do a thing having finished quickly” “on the earth.” Isa. 10:22, 23
29 And as Isaiah predicted, “If not the Lord of hosts left a seed to us, we would have become as Sodom, and as Gomorrah we would have been compared.” Isa. 1:9
30 ¶ What then shall we say? That the nations, the ones not pursuing righteous- ness, have taken over righteousness, but a righteousness of faith;
31 but Israel pursuing a law of righteous ness did not arrive to a law of righteous- ness?
32 Why? Because it was not of faith, but as of works of Law. For they stumbled at the Stone-of-stumbling,
33 as it has been written, “Behold, I place in” “Zion a Stone-of-stumbling,” “and a Rock-of-offense,” “and everyone believ- ing on Him will not be shamed.” LXX and MT-Isa. 28:16; MT-Isa. 8:14
Brothers, truly my heart’s pleasure and supplication to God on behalf of Israel is unto salvation.
2 For I testify to them that they have zeal to God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For not knowing the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.
4 For the end of the law is Christ for righ- teousness to everyone that believes

18 For the Word of the cross is foolish- ness to the ones perishing, but to us being saved it is the power of God.
19 For it has been written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will set aside the understanding of the understanding ones.” Isa. 29:14
20 Where is the wise one? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? Did God not make the wisdom of this world to be foolish?
